I'm Allie Pembleton. In the top 1% of all agents in the East Bay, I consistently achieve well over the average price per square foot for my sellers, often reaching the highest price in the neighborhood. Despite this challenging market, many of my buyers get into the first home they bid on, and sellers delight in the great returns. But I take none of this for granted. My success comes from a personal history that informs how I stage, prep, negotiate, and close each transaction.
I left home at a young age, forced to become independent earlier than most. I spent two years hitchhiking through Central America before exploring Africa for over half a decade. I was nomadic, visiting war-torn villages as well as villas. Scarcity and uncertainty were familiar feelings, and even greater was a sense of joy, curiosity, and adventure, along with the experience that most people act out of kindness. While traveling, I developed a deep self-trust, a recognition of privilege, and an intense appreciation for the wondrous visual and cultural world I was exploring.
My history is central to how I collaborate with buyers and sellers today; the search for a home is deep in my soul. Whether you own a property for three years or thirty, a sense of belonging, security, and safety is so important. I understand this at my core. I help sellers communicate the allure and charm of their homes and help buyers find the joy and sense of connection they seek. The homes I list are beautiful, the prep works distinctively innovative yet cost-effective. I minimize renovations while maximizing my client's return on investment, consistently.
An artist, born to artist parents, I was raised in visual culture. Traveling refined and strengthened my sensibility; this sixth sense is now an essential part of my real estate practice. I have an innate sensitivity to how design, spatial relationships, and color affect the feeling of a place. While many agents use neutral palettes, I approach a home differently. Specific art pieces create cohesion between indoors and outdoors, elevate a space, or complete restful spots where the mind and eye can relax.
I want each house I list to be the “it” house that everyone flocks to, talks about, and bids on. I love the negotiation process and excel at putting sellers in a position where I can negotiate strongly for their best offer. Helping clients find their dream homes where they feel comfortable, happy, and secure is my passion.
When not busy at work, I love to have adventures with my daughter Amelie. We’ve hiked in Switzerland, gone swimming in glacial lakes, spent days meandering through the Venice Biennale experiencing art, and slept in under-earth huts in Sweden. And I'm just delighted to hang out at home with my husband Terry, sharing the magic of California with my family.
